Today I spent 4hrs at Grenadier Pond, High Park fishing and trying to learn how to use my new baitcaster. In total I caught 2 largemouth bass and lost another 2 due to hooksets.

The first bass was caught on a topwater slopfrog. The second bass was my first bass on my new baitcaster. It was caught on a texas rigged rage tail worm. I don’t usually fish soft plastics but now I’m hooked. I’m gonna start bring a good variety of soft plastics with me from now on 🙂
