Hi everyone!!!
Summer is almost here in Calgary. Walking in and around some of the gorgeous parks in the City is one of the most popular thing to do.

Last Thursday, we went to the Prince’s Island Park in downtown Calgary which is a few blocks from our place. There’s lots of people when we’re there, the good things was, almost everyone was practicing social distancing. There’s even a mini concert, it was almost like everything’s back to normal except social distancing which is the new normal.

When we’re new in the city, our friend brought us to the park and that was the first time we saw the Peace Bridge. It was still snowing and the visit was quite memorable because John stepped on a dog poop while we’re walking down the bridge. It was so gross and funny at the same time.

After we moved to downtown Calgary, the Prince’s Island Park became our usual walking spot specially during spring and summer. For me, the best activity in the park is riding a bike to go around the island (we will do another vlog for that) and doing the white water rafting (another vlog as well).

So back to our afternoon walk last Thursday, there were some geese, ducks, squirrels and few rabbits strolling around the park. The squirrels were the cutest (lol). Most of the trees has started growing their leaves, grasses are all green and flowers are blooming.

All in all, it was a great walk in the park. It reminds me of New York’s Central Park. It was more relaxing to walk here at the Prince’s Island Park though.
