IN THIS VIDEO: Hello everyone! This is going to be the last video you’ll see from me going to the Toronto Raptor Watch @ Hawk Hill in High Park, Toronto, Ontario. I started the day off at 12:45pm. Wind were North East, the perfect winds for migrating raptors. The video starts off with a video of a Red-shouldered Hawk, a lifer for me, first time seeing it, circling around. Then it moves on to another one of my lifers, a Golden Eagle!!! This bird I had been wanting to get for a while, and it was a mature Golden, surrounded by 3 Red-Tailed Hakws as well. Then the video moves on to an awesome sighting, 4 Golden Eagle’s at a time, I only got to see two, but all of them appeared to be immature Golden Eagle’s, the total for the day was 8 of them!! Only 1 off from the record of 9 seen in a day. The the rest of the video has some Red-tailed Hawks and some Sharp-shinned Hawks as well as some Tureky Vultures that came through as well. Sharp-shinned Hawk: 35/ I caught 1 in flight.
Coopers Hawk: 1
Northern Goshawk: 2, were noticed last min so only 2-3 observers seen the bird.
Red-shouldered Hawk: 15/ Caught 1 in flight.
Broad-winged Hawk: 2
Red-tailed Hawk: 133/ Caught 4-5 in flight.
Rough-legged Hawk: 0
Golden Eagle: 8/ I caught 3 birds in flight.
American Kestrel: 0
Merlin: 0
Peregrine Falcon: 1

TOTAL: 413 raptors
